The background to J F D I
In a song-writing group, I was given the prompt “write a song about the thing you most need to hear”. It took me seconds to recognise that the thing was J F D I – a phrase used by my husband a lot at work, and increasingly to me! I think it probably applies to a lot of people. I chose to release it just after New Year as a friendly and singable reminder to people to get on with their New Year’s resolutions. For me and many others, I suspect it will be equally apt at pretty much any time of year!
