The backgound to I Love You So Much
Having written, by this time, several songs and sketches about the trials and tribulations of motherhood, it occurred to us that we should probably include a song about how much we all love our children! … for balance, and because it’s true! (For the song we had to focus on one child - it happens to be a girl, but could of course apply, and even be sung about, a boy!)

Dear Diary, A lovely day – went for a walk in the country, collecting conkers; kicking autumn leaves;
splashing in puddles; holding hands and watching ducks on the river.
Witnessing your fascination with the world
Yesterday we had fun baking cakes. Then snuggled in bed reading stories and singing nursery rhymes together.
Your infectious energy and baby chuckles
Looking forward to our next trip to the seaside
